Personal Use

Applies if the video is used solely for personal purposes or uploaded to public platforms with absolutely no monetization intent.

Commercial Type A

Incurs a Tier 1 commercial fee if the video is used to generate passive income from streaming platforms such as YouTube AdSense, etc

Commercial Type B

Incurs a Tier 2 commercial fee if the work is directly sold, distributed for a fee, or used as paid advertising material (Ads).

Ghost Editing

If the Client requests that my name be omitted from public releases, a No-Credit Fee will be applied for the right to disassociate the video from its original creator. Please note that this no-credit fee is exclusive and completely separate from the Commercial Type A and Type B fees.

Original Song MV

Specifically for Original Song Music Video (MV) commissions, the project will automatically be classified under Commercial Use (either Type A or Type B, depending on the distribution method). The Personal Use rate is strictly not applicable for Original Song commissions.

Crediting Requirement & Penalty

The Client is strictly required to credit "Envy" in the description box of every public video release. If the credit is missing, I reserve the right to contact the Client to request its immediate addition. If this notice is ignored or unresolved for more than 4 consecutive days, the project will automatically be reclassified as a Ghost Editing commission. The Client will be billed the No-Credit Fee separately and will be permanently blacklisted from any future commissions.

Terms of Service

General Terms

I reserve the right to decline a commission request if it is beyond my capabilities, violates the law, or makes me uncomfortable.

Pricing

I reserve the right to decline a commission request if it is beyond my capabilities, violates the law, or makes me uncomfortable.

Down Payment (DP)

A minimum down payment of 50% must be paid before the work begins or after the initial progress is sent, depending on the prior agreement.

Deadlines

The project deadline will only start counting once I have received all required assets. An exception applies to Audio assets: we can use a non-final draft version, or use an original/cover track by another party as a temporary reference (strictly for Cover Song commissions, not Original Songs).

If the final assets are not delivered by at least 7 days before the deadline, the project will be categorized as a Rush Commission and will incur an additional fee.

Revision Policy

Minor Revisions (Free)

Applies to small adjustments, such as pacing (movement tempo) or fixing incorrect lyrics/typos.

Major Revisions ($2+)

Applies to requests to overhaul the layout, replace main assets, or completely change transitions once the video production is underway.

Complete Overhaul / Remake

Changing the previously agreed-upon core concept will be considered a total remake. This counts as an extremely large revision and will incur an additional charge of up to 100% of the base price.

Audio Asset Delivery

If the final audio submitted has different timing (duration or beats) compared to the draft version previously used, it will be counted as a major revision and will incur an additional fee.

Inactive Clients & File Storage Risks

If the Client disappears without notice for an extended period, I hold no responsibility for the availability of your project files. Furthermore, even if the Client has provided prior notice or requested a project hold, I cannot guarantee that the project files will permanently remain intact or entirely safe from data corruption over time.

Delayed Revision

If a project has been marked as completed, or if the Client disappears without notice for 2 consecutive months and suddenly returns to request a revision, any requested changes (regardless of how minor) will automatically be classified as a Major Revision and will incur an additional fee.

Re-rendering Requests

Requests for a re-render or separated render files after the project is completed will be provided free of charge, strictly on the condition that the raw project file is still saved, uncorrupted, and accessible on my system

File Loss or Corruption

If the raw project file has been deleted or corrupted by the system, there is unfortunately nothing more I can do, and I sincerely apologize for this! However, if the Client still requires changes, the only solution is to recreate the project from scratch, which will incur a Remake Charge.
